SPPOAC, the State Park Peace Officers Association of California, is the professional organization that communicates the needs and wishes of the rank and file peace officer employees of the California Department of Parks and Recreation to CAUSE, California Union of Safety Employees.

CAUSE is the "exclusive negotiating agent for all employees in the Protective Services and Public Safety Unit 7." Without SPPOAC, Park Rangers and Lifeguards would not have an efficient and effective way of communicating their needs.
